Terms of Use

Parksule Tutoring is a free study platform built and run by Om Palsule and Jaden Park, two high school students. It is not a company, not a school, not a tutoring business, and not affiliated with anyone’s school district.

Everything on it is free. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires, and no payment form anywhere on the site. If you are ever asked to pay for Parksule, you are not on Parksule.

You need to be 13 or older to have an account, and you confirm that when you sign up. If you are under 13, you cannot use Parksule — the privacy page explains why, and it is not because you are unwelcome.

One account per person. Use your real name, or at least a name the tutor meeting you will recognize, and an email address you actually read — a lost password cannot be recovered through an inbox you do not have.

Tutoring on Parksule is peer help. Your tutor is a student volunteer who knows the subject and offered their time. They are not a licensed teacher, a certified tutor, a counselor, or an employee, and Parksule does not run background checks or verify credentials.

Sessions happen over whatever meeting link your tutor sends. That call is between you and them; nobody from Parksule is on it, and nothing is recorded or supervised by the site.

Bring an adult into the loop if that is the right call for you — a parent, guardian, or teacher knowing when and with whom you are meeting is a reasonable precaution, and nothing about this site replaces it. If anything in a session makes you uncomfortable, leave it and email [email protected]. Reports are taken seriously and a tutor can be removed.

Nothing on Parksule — practice, explanations, plans, or a tutor’s advice — is professional academic, medical, legal, or mental health advice.

• Be decent to your tutor, and to the students you tutor.
• Do not use Parksule to cheat on something you are being graded on. Practice questions are for practice; a live test is not.
• Do not harass, threaten, or send anything sexual, hateful, or abusive to anyone through the messages or session notes.
• Do not share another person’s private information, or try to reach data that is not yours — including by probing the site for ways around its access rules.
• Do not scrape the question bank, automate accounts, or resell any part of this. It was written to be given away, not to be taken.
• Do not upload anything that is not yours to upload.

Breaking these can cost you your account. For anything involving a person’s safety, it will, immediately and without a warning first.

The courses, questions, explanations, and the site itself belong to Om Palsule and Jaden Park. You are welcome to use them to study, and to show them to anyone you are helping. You may not republish them as your own or sell them.

What you write — your answers, your messages, what you say you need help with — stays yours. Parksule stores it and shows it to the people described in the privacy page so the site can work, and does nothing else with it.

Parksule is offered as it is. The founders use it themselves and try hard to keep the content correct, but a question can be wrong, an explanation can be unclear, a mastery score is an estimate rather than a measurement, and a study plan is a suggestion.

Studying here will not guarantee a grade, a score, or an outcome of any kind. Check anything important against your own class and your own teacher — they are the ones grading you.

Found a wrong question? Send it to [email protected]. That is genuinely useful and it gets fixed.

The site runs on a server in a house. It goes down sometimes, usually briefly and usually because of the internet connection rather than the software. There is no uptime guarantee and there is no support line.

Do not let Parksule be the only place something important exists. To the fullest extent the law allows, Om Palsule and Jaden Park are not liable for losses arising from using the site, from being unable to use it, or from anything a tutor or another user does.

You can delete your account at any moment from your account page, and take a copy of your data with you first. No one has to approve it and nobody will email you asking why.

Parksule can close an account that breaks these terms. If Parksule itself ever shuts down, there will be notice on the site and time to download your data before anything is turned off.

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did, and a change that actually affects you will be announced on the site rather than slipped in. Continuing to use Parksule after that means the new version applies.
